Our agency is recruiting for an Operations Engineer in Cincinnati, OH.  The ideal candidate will be overseeing current product defects, customer relations and operations assistance for existing product line.

This position will provide operations process, quality, and technical management for existing product line lifecycle.  The candidate will also be responsible for the overall operations which includes cost reductions, product process instructions, and resolution of quality issues. Identify operations costs, product issues and product re-design and improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cost-effective operations in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide recommendations for manage equipment, fixtures, tooling and automation equipment as necessary
  • Support ongoing technical and engineering service operations activities
  • Educate and train employees on new operations and workflow processes
  • Ability to repair and upgrade mechanical system and able to identify operational issues relating to process or equipment
  • Maintain layouts of building and equipment for operations equipment
  • Coordinates the launch of new and revised products
  • Ensures and maintains operations Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS)

Requirements:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent recognized engineering qualification with two to four years of related experience in an engineering or Operations (global Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry experience is preferred)
  • Previous experience in cost reduction, process improvement, and experience for supporting existing product lines and product development is preferred
  • Previous experience with coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, manage multiple projects and possess strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to interact effectively and diplomatically with customers, vendors and employees at all levels within the company
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), AutoCAD a plus and other appropriate software programs.
  • Ability to travel 25% or more (domestically or internationally) as required
  • Lean Operations or process improvement experience with Six Sigma Certification is preferred
