Our recruiting agency is seeking a JAVA DEVELOPER for an established logistics and transportation company.  Experience candidate should have full agile application development life cycle for new and existing development, design, construction and testing of Java applications and developing application.  Strong consideration for candidate with Java application architecture and Java Messaging Services development knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strong working experience with Java applications and messaging and workflows design
• Technical skill and analysis skills in coding, application design and automated test meeting design objectives
• Debug of existingand new Java applications and JMS messaging
• Able to create technical documentation forJava applications
• Clients facing and collaborate with stakeholders design requirements
• Oversee project deliverables and SDLC following Agile principals

TECHNICAL SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in software development usingJava and related technologies
• Strong knowledge in CoreJava, thread pooling and Data Structures,
• Excellent software architecture and system design
• Excellent team collaboration, leadership and communication skills
• Strong experience in TCP IP protocols and using workflow tools like JMS, schedulers and workflow engines
• Strong design experience with REST and SOAP web services
• Experience with SVN, TFS (merging, branching, deployment), XSD, XML and parsing, serializing and schema design
• Experience with Agile / SCRUM methodology and automated Testing
• Experience with DB2, Objective C or Swift is a PLUS
